Israeli Forces Kill Palestinian, Injure Others in West Bank
Israeli forces opened fire on a vehicle carrying three Palestinians near Bani Naim, east of Hebron, killing one person and wounding the two others.
The Palestinian General Authority of Civil Affairs identified the deceased as Hossam Alaa al-Din Abdul Jabbar Walad Ali, 38, and said Israeli forces continued to withhold his body.
The Israeli army said the three Palestinians had attempted to ram soldiers with their vehicle in the Bani Naim area.
In another incident near Yabad, southwest of Jenin, three Palestinians were injured after Israeli settlers attacked them while they were picking olives.
The Palestinian Red Crescent said its teams provided medical treatment to three people wounded in an attack in the Imriha area before taking them to hospital.
Local sources said one of the Palestinians suffered a broken leg, another was injured in the left hand, while an elderly man was beaten and exposed to pepper spray.
The Palestinian Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission said Israeli settlers have carried out more than 14,742 attacks across the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, since October 2023, resulting in the deaths of 66 Palestinians.
